Recently, Fortune China Web released the "Fortune" China Top 500 list in 2019. In the automotive industry, there are 22 companies on the list, and the number of enterprises has decreased by two compared with last year. The number one automotive company is still SAIC. Although SAIC is still ranked fifth in the top 500, which is the same as last year, its overall revenue has increased by nearly 4% to 902.194 billion yuan. In addition, the CATL and BAIC BJEV, which was just listed last year, made its debut on the "Fortune" China Top 500 list, ranking 290th and 494th respectively.

From this year's "Fortune" China Top 500 list, it is not difficult to see the adverse effects brought by the cold winter of the car market, such as BAIC, Dongfeng Motor, GWM, GAC, Changan Automobile, JAC Automobile and other more than 10 vehicle companies ranked down year on year. The only automakers that have been able to maintain their position or rank has improved are only SAIC, BYD, Geely and Sino-Truck (Hong Kong). In addition, compared with last year, many auto industry-related companies have "dropped off" the list, such as Zotye Auto, Wuling Holdings, Huaxiang Electronics and Linglong Tire.

However, in the cold winter of the automobile market, new energy cars growth fast against the down trend. According to the data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the production and sales of new energy vehicles in China reached 614,000 and 617,000 respectively in the first half of the year, up 48.5% and 49.6% year-on-year. The uptrend of new energy vehicles is also reflected in this year's "Fortune" China 500 list. The CATL, a power battery manufacturing company that was established only for more than seven years, and BAIC New Energy, which was listed only one year ago, are on the list for the first time. According to the performance forecast for the first half of 2019 issued by CATL, due to the rapid development of new energy vehicles and the rising demand for power batteries, the company is expected to achieve net profit of 2 billion to 2.278 billion yuan in the first half of the year, an increase of 120% to 150% over the previous year.

In addition, due to the continuous deepening of the "four new trends" in the auto industry, some auto suppliers who are committed to automotive electronics and intelligent network services are also developing rapidly. Compared with last year, Joyson Electronics has climbed 112 places on the fortune China 500 list, making it the most improved company in the auto industry this year. (Editor/Autohome Chen Can)
